Sopockie kina czeka niepewna przyszłość

Na sopockim Monciaku szykują się przeprowadzki: Teatr Kameralny ma zająć budynek po kinie Bałtyk, a kamienica po teatrze i kinie Polonia stanie się własnością Neptun Filmu. Co przyniosą zmiany?

Mirosław Morzyk, wiceprezes Neptun Filmu, tłumaczy, co jest przyczyną planowanych zmian: - Grunt i budynek przy ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino 55/57, w którym mieszczą się Teatr Kameralny i kino Polonia, w trzech piątych jest własnością Neptun Filmu, natomiast dwie piąte nieruchomości należą do teatru Wybrzeże. W dodatku Neptun Film część swojej nieruchomości wydzierżawia EMPiK-owi na salon prasowy. Stąd pomysł zamiany obiektów, która uprościłaby skomplikowane kwestie prawne i własnościowe. Teatr Kameralny ma zająć miejsce obecnego kina Bałtyk, a Neptun Film stałby się właścicielem całej kamienicy przy Bohaterów Monte Cassino 55/57 z obecnym teatrem i kinem Polonia.

Neptun Film planował tam przeprowadzić generalną przebudowę (obiekt jest w fatalnym stanie, nie spełnia norm bezpieczeństwa i nadaje się tylko do gruntownej modernizacji) i urządzić w nim parę mniejszych sal kinowych.

Obie strony, teatr Wybrzeże i Neptun Film, podpisały już nawet wstępne porozumienie w sprawie zamiany. W tym czasie sejmik wojewódzki (właściciel Neptun Filmu) zadecydował, że Neptun Film z całym majątkiem zostanie sprzedany warszawskiej spółce Capital Park, która zobowiązała się do respektowania porozumienia o zamianie budynków.

Jakie plany ma nowy inwestor wobec kamienicy na Monciaku? - Żadne decyzje jeszcze nie zapadły - powiedział "Gazecie" Jan Motz, prezes Capital Parku. Wiadomo jednak, że Capital Park rozważa możliwość zmiany przeznaczenia przejętych obiektów i myśli o powiększeniu salonu EMPiK-u kosztem byłego kina i teatru. W umowie sprzedaży Neptun Filmu, którą Urząd Marszałkowski ma w najbliższym czasie zawrzeć z firmą Capital Park, nie ma bowiem zapisu, że nabywca zobowiązuje się do kontynuowania działalności kinowej.

Czy to oznacza, że z Sopotu znikną obie sale kinowe? Tego właśnie obawiają się mieszkańcy. Sopocki radny Kuba Świderski założył Komitet Ochrony Kin Sopotu i w miniony weekend rozpoczął zbieranie podpisów pod petycją o ich utrzymanie, pod postulatem podpisało się już kilkaset osób. Petycja ma być wykorzystana jako argument w rozmowach z szefostwem Capital Parku i sopockim magistratem.

Jak dowiedzieliśmy się nieoficjalnie, nadal nie jest za późno na wprowadzenie zmian do projektu umowy sprzedaży Neptun Filmu. - Pod naciskiem mieszkańców i władz do umowy można by jeszcze wprowadzić zapis zobowiązujący inwestora do utrzymania choćby jednego kina w Sopocie - uważa nasz informator.

How influentital the Media on Teens Are
It has been a hot topic discussed heatedly for the time being that how indeed the media influence our teens. Different peopie come up with different opinions. The following passages are two different comments given by several teenagers ranging from 15 to 20.

Opposing voices have also come from others. They think that they use the media--magazines, television and movies--to connect to one another and to the world, so naturally,they're influenced by the images the media present. For example, a boy would be lying if he said he didn't want to be like Brad Pitt. Pitt's flawless style, good looks and moneymaking talent seem to define what's "cool".

It's not the fault of TV.aion kinah Media are an expression of our culture--not the cause. It's time we stop making the media a scapegoat for our nation's problems. It's not the media's job to make sure kids understand what they're watching; that responsibility belongs to parents. Parents and schools should dedicate more time to establishing clear rules of discipline.The influence of parents and teachers--the teens' true role model--carries more weight with teenagers than what they hear on the radio or see at the movies.
